Our society relies heavily on the work of civil engineers. The infrastructure they build and maintain serves communities and individuals for generations. For me, this encapsulates the essence of being a civil engineer — a professional with the chance to undertake projects that not only transform our physical environment but also enhance the lives of millions of people.
02 — Key Achievements
Milestones on site.
MRT Launching Girder — 57 Spans
Successfully managed the installation of 57 spans using a launching girder, overseeing all substructure and superstructure work including parapet, segmental box girder and drainage.
Multi-Storey Park & Ride (MSPR)
Successfully managed all structural, architectural and mechanical work for the Multi-Storey Park and Ride building within the MRT project.
TTDI MRT Station Link Bridges
Monitored and installed two link bridges weighing 80 and 180 tons at TTDI MRT Station, plus all steel structure work at the station.
Industrial & Mixed Development
Managed the First Solar Kulim warehouse project (substructure to superstructure) and led the VerdePalm project at Gelang Patah end to end, including architectural work.

Providing engineering support across RFI closing, method statements and site management.
- Prepared all supporting documents for pending Requests for Inspection (RFI)
- Liaised with consultants and clients to finalise structural, mechanical and architectural documents
- Closed all documents with Code 1 status within the provided deadline
- Prepared method statements, job safety analysis, inspection checklists and environmental analysis
- Compiled material lists and prepared catalogue and machinery submissions
- Developed checklist forms
- Liaised with the site team to produce shop drawings
- Managed site activities including concrete work, rebar installation and formwork
Senior Site Engineer
Mar 2018 – Feb 2022Irama Duta Sdn. Bhd.
As Section Head Engineer, managed two major projects — V208 and MSPR208 — end to end.
V208 Project
- Monitored fabrication of parapets and segmental box girders
- Prepared site arrangements for launching box girders across 57 spans
- Developed one-month programs for site planning and casting of pile caps and pier columns
- Managed substructure (pile caps) and superstructure (pier columns to segmental box girder) progress
- Prepared and presented method statements, safety analyses and quality inspection checklists
- Created shop drawings for pier casting, retaining walls and drainage
- Compiled material lists for drainage installation at the segment viaduct
- Developed programs for parapet and noise barrier installation, including cable hangers
- Liaised with the consultant team on design issues and inspections
- Monitored instrumentation installation and ongoing monitoring for the entire project
- Oversaw viaduct drainage work, including rebar installation and concreting
- Prepared method statements for defect work and monitored rectification on site

- Served as Project Engineer for the MRT station project
- Managed all steel structure work, including both steel structure entrances
- Liaised with consultants and clients on progress; ensured full safety compliance on site
